After hearing that my man Flow Circus was reading this, I had to throw up some more albums.

Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings - 100 Days 100 Nights
Actually came out in 2007, but who cares - so funky, so soulful, so amazing. Check it out here.
Menahan Street Band - Make the Road by Walking
Check it out here. Where the ridiculous beat from Jay-Z - Roc Boys came from. Features some of the members of the Dap-Kings.
